The TMDA configuration is accomplished from the main screen.
Dispositioning Pending Email
The “Pending” screen or “Main” screen is a listing of all email that are awaiting the “Challenge and Response”. From here you can “Release”, “Whitelist”, and or “Revoke” any e-mail that is in the “Pending” file. To disposition Pending email due the following:
- Select the email by placing a check mark in the box next to the subject, and select the button “Whitlist”, “Release”, or select the drop down box “Other Actions” and select other function’s.
- Then select “Apply”.
If you select “Release” the email will be delivered to your inbox this time only, and if you selected “Whitelist” the email will be added to your whitelist and will be delivered everytime the sender sends you email..
Setting up Your List
By selecting “Lists” at the Left, this will take you to another screen which will allow you to configure your “Whitelist” and “Revoked” list.
- Select “Lists”
- Select either “whitelist” or “Revoked”.
- Add email addresses by clicking in the box and typing in the email address. Wildcards can be used “*” to allow or revoke anyone at the particular domain. For example: (*@eriecoast.com is added to your whitlist by default). This means anyone at eriecoast.com can send you an email and it will be delivered. If it was in the revoked list it would be deleted.
- Select “SAVE” at the bottom and the configuration is set.
