Lorain County Manufacturing Council
- The Lorain County Manufacturing Council, has been established as a 501 (C-3)
not-for-profit organization, working in partnership with the Lorain County
Commissioners, Lorain County Community Development, Lorain County Community
College, Lorain County Chamber of Commerce, GLIDE, and the local manufacturing
business community
Cleveland Technical Societies Council - The Cleveland Technical Societies
Council brings together the members of the technical, and engineering societies
in Northeastern Ohio to:
International Association of Nanotechnology (IANT) - The International
Association of Nanotechnology (IANT), is a non-profit organization with the
goals to foster scientific research and business development in the areas of
Nanoscience and Nanotechnology for the benefits of society. The International
Association of Nanotechnology (IANT) is the first professional association in
the world to address the multi-aspects of the emerging field of Nanotechnology.
The IANT promotes the exchange of knowledge and research collaborations among
the scientific and business communities, facilitating dialogue, conducting
advanced educational programs, heightening public awareness, as well as
evaluating the impact of potential regulations and public policy.
Precision Machined Products Association - PMPA - The Precision Machined
Products Association has been directly linked to the Industry since its
inception in 1933, as the NSMPA - National Screw Machine Products Association.
Created by a group of screw machine shop owners seeking to improve the standing
of the Industry their mission remains alive and well today some 68 years later.
Today PMPA is looking ahead to the future, with programs and services designed
to meet the technical and management challenges of the 21st century. The
Association has in place an Educational Foundation devoted to recruiting,
training and maintaining a skilled workforce for the Precision Machined Products
Industry. PMPA also has a global presence through its direct involvement in the
international association, Syndicat International du Decolletage.
