also known as the Jim Bodnar ego page.  I'm sorry if this is all a little much.  There is some useful information in here somewhere, I swear.

My Set-up
Alot of people have been interested in what type of set-up I run.  What planes, engines, radio gear, etc.  Click here to get the skinney on what I used last year and what I plan to use in 2001.  Check out my Vacuum bagging pages.  So far only a page explaining the pump is there but there will be more to come
2000 National Points Champion
It's Official.  As of Jan 1st, 2001, the RC Combat Association has announced the final standings for the points championship and yours truely was named National Champion.  I was runner-up in 1999 and was determined not to finish there again this year.  The RCCA keeps tabs on three different classes of combat 2105, 2610, and Open plus the Overall Points Championship.  I finished Third in Open Combat, Third in 2105 Scale Combat, and Fourth in 2610 Scale Combat for the year and won the Overall Championship. Of course it would not have been possible without the planes from my Dad, the composite materials from John R. Sweet Co., the engines from Norvel the open planes from TuFflight, and the batteries from Radical RC. Check out the links below.
Statistics:
I flew more sanctioned rounds of combat last year than anyone in the country, 122 rounds all together.  I flew in 25 events at 14 flying fields in 9 states.  I got 162 cuts, and scored a total of 22,972 points.  In three years of Combat, I've traveled to 22 flying fields in 12 different states (and counting).
